From the Interview to Working Again!
How to make a smooth transition back to work.
Russell Library — Hubbard Room
123 Broad Street Middletown, CT 06457
(Open to the public)

Going back to work, especially after long-term unemployment, has many challenges. Some of them are obvious, some are hidden, and some remain invisible until it’s too late. Most of these challenges can be avoided when a person is on the lookout and knows what to do and how to respond. The solutions may surprise you.

We will cover the following:
Learn how to:

  • Understand the work culture and climate before you start your new job.
  • Prepare your family, friends and yourself for the changes to come.
  • Manage scheduling changes that can cause failure.
  • Learn about typical emotional challenges and what to do about them.
This workshop will help you prepare for success as you go back to work.
